At the Institute of Economics held a meeting with the delegation of Uzbekistan

  On September 18, 2024, held a meeting with Uzbek scientists at the Institute of Economics of the Ministry of Science and Education. Under the leadership of Obid Hakimov, director of the Center for Economic Research and Reforms under the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Uzbek delegation was received by the director general of MSE Economics Institute, Professor Nazim Muzaffarli (Imanov). 
  Prof. N. Muzaffarli gave the guests extensive information about the main activities of the Institute of Economics, fundamental scientific research, cooperation with state institutions, and implemented projects. O. Hakimov spoke about the activities of institution he heads, the purpose of the visit of the Uzbekistan delegation to our country. 
  During the meeting, issues of expanding economic relations between two countries, discussed potential opportunities, organizing joint production, mutually beneficial trade, establishing wider cooperation between entrepreneurs and business structures, mutual investments, conditions for foreign investors and business in the territories freed from occupation, investigation and scientific cooperation of the two countries in this field, also organizing joint discussions with research centers, etc. Noted the necessity and importance of expanding the economic relations between the two friendly and brotherly countries, and good opportunities for this (economics.com.az).
