Zakirjan Zikriyayev, Vice-Rector for International Relations at the Olmaliq State Technical Institute in Uzbekistan; Orhan Faik, Associate Professor at Istanbul Arel University in Turkey, and Anar Osmanlı, Councellor of the Rector of the Azerbaijan University of Languages, visited the Institute of Economics under the Ministry of Science and Education.
The guests were received by the Institute's Director General, Professor Nazim Muzaffarli (Imanov).
During the meeting, Prof. Muzaffarli briefed the guests on the Institute of Economics' primary areas of activity, its fundamental and applied scientific research, cooperation with government agencies, scientific projects, and international relations.
Researchers from Uzbekistan and Turkey shared insights regarding the activities of the higher education and scientific institutions they represent, projects concerning the Turkic world, international scientific events, and potential opportunities for future collaboration.
During the meeting, discussions focused on opportunities to expand cooperation between the Institute of Economics and relevant research and higher education institutions in Turkey and Uzbekistan, as well as on developing joint scientific projects, holding international events, and organizing the exchange of researchers and experts.
The parties noted that conducting joint scientific research and projects related to the economic development of Turkic world nations could contribute to the advancement of scientific cooperation, the mutual exchange of experience, and the further strengthening of economic ties among these fraternal countries (economics.org.az)
