On April 19, 2024, held a republican scientific-practical conference on "Economic development potential of Western Azerbaijan: retrospective analysis and vision for the future" at the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction. The conference was held in two sections: socio-economic potential and vision of the future
In the section of "Socio-economic development potential of Western Azerbaijan" of the event, Tanriverdi Pasha, the leading scientific researcher of the Institute of Economics of the Ministry of Science and Education, made a report entitled "On the study of the economy of Western Azerbaijan". The theoretical, methodological and practical issues of the problems related to the scientific study of the West Azerbaijan economy were touched upon in the report (economics.com.org).
