On November 24, 2023, ended the Republican Scientific Conference dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev, under the joint organization of the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University and the Institute of Economics of the Ministry of Science and Education, on "Modern problems and perspectives of economic management"
Speaking at the closing ceremony of the conference, Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs of ASOIU, Professor Latafat Gardashova, made a speech on the scientific importance of the conference and said that she was happy to participate in the conference. Prof. L. Gardashova, who assessed the holding of such a conference at ASOIU as a significant event, said that the conference will be continuous and will cover wider issues in the future.
Then heard the reports of the department heads.
Distinguished participants at the conference, including employees of Institute of Economics, MSE, (Aygun Tahmezli, Gulnara Fataliyeva, Vafa Hashimova, Sabina Sadigova) 
were awarded with certificates. The responsible secretary of the conference, associate professor Mahir Zeynalov, was presented with a "Thank you note" on behalf of the Rector of ASOIU.
It should be noted that the conference started on November 23, 2023. In total, more than 100 scientific articles were presented to the conference, and it is planned to publish the conference materials in the near future (economics.com.az).
