On June 21, 2023, held a meeting of the Defense Council specializing in the defense of master's theses at the Institute of Economics of the Ministry of Science and Education. At the event, participated Ayshan Aslanova, the leading specialist of the Science and Education Department of Presidium of ANAS, and the Head of the Education Department of the Institute of Economics, Ph.D. in Economics, Ellada Khankishiyeva
At the meeting chaired by Professor Mushfig Atakishiyev, 3 second-year master's students of the Institute presented their dissertation topics for obtaining a master scientific degree. Masters - Javanshir Burhanzade defensed the thesis on "Assessment of macroeconomic effects of fiscal policy" (supervisor is Prof. F. Qanbarov), Hasan Orujov defensed on "Problems of mutual management of global and national economic crises" (supervisor is Asif Mustafayev) and Khazar Abbaszade defensed on "The role of state regulation of economy in economic growth: a comparative analysis of theoretical and empirical approaches" (supervisor is Mayis Gulaliyev), the members of the Specialized Defense Council gave high marks to the dissertations.
It should be noted that according to the relevant order by the director general of the Institute of Economics, prof. Nazim Muzaffarli was organized Specialized Defense Council for the defense of the master's thesis (economics.com.az).
