On June 16, 2023, held the next meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Economics of the Ministry of Science and Education. At the meeting discussed a number of issues chaired by the director general of the institute, D.SC., professor Nazim Muzaffarli (Imanov)
The leading researcher of the Institute of Economics, Ph.D., associate professor Nasimi Ahmadov made a report on his participation in the international seminar on "Fiscal policy" presented by the Professional and Organizational Development Institute of the International Monetary Fund on April 24 - May 5, 2023 in Vienna, Austria, organized by the United Institute of Vienna. Held discussions on the possibility of researchers participating in international projects, conferences and trainings.
At the meeting, approved the new dissertation topic by Leyla Sertash, a former PhD student of the Institute. The book "Grouping of Dissertation Topics by Majors (2015-2022)" compiled by Professor Gulshan Yuzbashiyeva and Associate Professor Asif Mustafayev was recommended for publication. Through secret voting in the Scientific Council, was also made a decision to give the leading researcher of the Institute, Ph.D. Matanat Abdalova the title of associate professor.
The members of the Scientific Council congratulated the employees of the Institute - associate professors Azer Safarov, Sevda Mahmudova and Mehriban Zeynalova on their anniversary years (economics.com.az).
