Leading research fellow of the Institute of Economics of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor Nasimi Ahmadov participated in the international training course on "Fiscal frameworks" organized by the Joint Vienna Institute of Austria and the Institute for Capacity Development of the International Monetary Fund on April 24 - May 5, 2023
The two-week course discussed tools and methodologies 
for analyzing, monitoring and improving fiscal policy. Participants were taught with reviewing the roles and objectives of both government and fiscal policy, obtaining the high-quality information, and improving transparency and responsibility to hold governments accountable for their medium- to long-term fiscal objectives. The seminar was held in an atmosphere of interesting and useful discussions, concluded with the thematic presentations of the participants, and certificates were awarded to the participants (economics.com.az).
