Held the first meeting of the Dissertation Council of the Institute of Economics with its new membership

  Held the first meeting of the newly formed Dissertation Council of the Institute of Economics of the Ministry of Science and Education. The General Director of the Institute of Economics, professor Nazim Muzaffarli, opened the meeting and congratulated the members of the Dissertation Council and wished them success in their activities

  At the meeting held discussions around the issues as increasing requirements for dissertations submitted for discussion, seminar and defense, organization of scientific discussions, responsibility of reviewers and opponents, the quality of dissertations, activities of Dissertation Council and etc,
  It should be noted that during the term of office until 01.11.2025 issued by the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, defenses in the Dissertation Council will be held on the specialties 5312.01 - Field economics, 5307.01 - Economic theory and 5308.01 - General economics (Ph.D. and D.Sc. scientific degrees).
  Chairman of the Dissertation Council is Professor M. Atakishiyev, Deputy Chairman is Prof. Rena Sultanova and scientific secretary is Ph.D. in Economics, Sevda Seyidova (economics.com.az).
