On April 26, 2023, held the next meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Economics of the Ministry of Science and Education. A number of issues were discussed at the meeting chaired by the director general of the institute, D.Sc., professor Nazim Muzaffarli (Imanov)
At the Scientific Council discussed the monograph "Industrialization in Azerbaijan: realities and prospects" by D.Sc., Professor Tofig Huseynov, head of the Department of Industrial Policy and Investment Problems. The author himself made a speech and gave information about the main content of the work.
The main characteristic features of the Azerbaijani industry, development trends, the main trends in the world industry, the role of the private sector in the industry, the problems of the development of the processing industry, the attraction of investments, clustering, state regulation, the stimulation of local production and exports, the level of state intervention in the economy, price regulation, innovative necessity of development of the industry and etc. issues were widely discussed in a scientific discussion environment. Also, noted suggestions and recommendations. By the decision of the Scientific Council, the monograph "Industrialization in Azerbaijan: realities and perspectives" was recommended for publication.
In the meeting, based on presentation by the head of Education Department Ph.D. in Economics, Ellada Khankishiyeva, discussed the subject programs on "Environmental security", "Global food problem and agrarian policy" and "Economic thought and economic policy", also approved taking into account comments and recommendations (economics.com.az).
