On March 29, 2023, held the next meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Economics of the Ministry of Science and Education. A number of issues were discussed at the meeting chaired by the director general of the institute, D.Sc., professor Nazim Muzaffarli (Imanov)
With the given proposal by General Director, after carried out discussions, with the decision of the Scientific Council established a temporary scientific research and creative group called "Economy of Western Azerbaijan" at the Institute of Economics. A group of employees of the Institute - professor Fuad Ganbarov, leading scientific workers Tanriverdi Pasha, Nasimi Ahmadov, Chingiz Bakhish, Alasgar Sariyev, Vilayat Ramazanov and young researcher Safter Velizade were included in the group.
At the Scientific Council discussed the book "Economist's View of Heydar Aliyev's Genius" by D.Sc., Professor Tarbiz Aliyev, head of the "Regulation of Business Environment and Development of Entrepreneurship" department. The author made a broad presentation about the book and said that the work is dedicated to the declaration of 2023 as the "Year of Heydar Aliyev" in Azerbaijan, to the 100th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding politician and statesman Heydar Aliyev. The book was recommended for publication by the decision of the Scientific Council.
The executive director of the institute, professor Mushfig Atakishiyev, gave information about the newly hired scientific employees and the partial changes that made to the scientific-research plan.
In the meeting, head of Education Department, Ph.D. in Economics, Ellada Khankishiyeva based on the presentation of the individual work plans of Ph.D. students and students for master degrees were discussed and approved (economics.com.az).
