The executive director of the institute, professor Mushfig Atakishiyev, gave information about the scientific conference on "Future economic development and priorities of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic" organized jointly by the Institute of Economics and "Nakhchivan" University on October 14, 2022. He said that at the event organized at "Nakhchivan" University, a group of scientists from the Institute of Economics participated under the leadership of prof., Nazim Muzaffarli. Including prof., Mushfiq Atakishiyev, prof., Tarbiz Aliyev, prof., Fuad Ganbarov, Assoc.prof., Allahyar Muradov and Assoc.prof., Parviz Hasanov delivered reports on current economic issues. Held extensive discussions around the reports. About 40 books printed on the basis of scientific researches of the Institute of Economics were presented to "Nakhchivan" University. Conference participants visited Duzdag Physiotherapy Center and a number of historical monuments.
Head of the Institute's Education Department, Ph.D., Ellada Khankishiyeva gave information about the dissertation topics and academic supervisors of graduating students that have admitted to the master's degree for this year. After discussions, topics and scientific leaders were approved.
At the meeting, made a decision through secret voting, the leading researcher, Ph.D., Sulduz Salimov was given the academic title of "Associate professor".
The members of the Scientific Council, Ph.D., Famil Rustamov, a leading researcher of the Institute, was awarded with the scientific diploma of "Associate professor" by the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, senior researcher Gulnara Fataliyeva was awarded with the diploma "Doctor of Philosophy". They congratulated Gulnaz Sarizade, who took first place in the scientific article competition held by the Azerbaijan Academy of Labor and Social Relations among young researchers (economics.com.az).
