On October 11, 2022, held the next meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Economics. A number of issues were discussed at the meeting chaired by the director general of the institute, Doctor of Economics, professor Nazim Muzaffarli (Imanov)
Prof. Nazim Muzaffarli gave information about the preparations for scientific conferences and organizational work on the "Future economic development priorities of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic" to be held at "Nakhchivan" University on October 14, 2022, and "Actual problems of socio-economic development of the Republic of Azerbaijan" planned to hold at Sumgayit State University on October 20-21, 2022, with the jointly organization by Institute of Economics.
The executive director of the institute, professor Mushfig Atakishiyev, gave information about the status of the implementation of the annual scientific-research plan works. He said that reports by the departments should be submitted by November 15, 2022, based on the relevant schedule. The Institute of Economics will submit the final report to the Social Sciences section of the Presidium, ANAS this year.
At the meeting of the Scientific Council, the dissertation topics of the doctoral and Ph.D. students admitted to the doctoral and dissertation studies of the Institute of Economics were widely discussed and approved with their participation.
By the decision of the Scientific Council, the leading researcher, Ph.D. Sulduz Salimov's monograph "Comparative analysis and assessment of ecological indicators of the Republic of Azerbaijan" was recommended for publication.
The members of the Scientific Council are the leading researcher of the Institute, who was awarded the diploma of "Associate Professor" by the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ph.D. Tabriz Yadigrov and scientific worker with the diploma "Doctor of Philosophy", Ph.D. Iskander Babazade was congratulated (economics.com.az).
