Published an analytical review entitled "Economy of culture in Azerbaijan: realities and prospective development". The authors of the book are the director general of the Institute of Economics, doctor of economic sciences, professor Nazim Muzaffarli and head of the department of the Institute, D.Sc., prof. Tarbiz Aliyev
The analytical review was presented at the international scientific-practical conference "Economy of Culture in Azerbaijan: Development Impulses from Shusha" jointly organized by the Ministry of Culture and the Institute of Economics of the Ministry of Science and Education on September 18-20.
The book was prepared by the authors in the context of the implementation of paragraph 18 of the "Action Plan for the Year of Shusha", approved by the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated February 25, 2022.
In the analytical review, culture was interpreted as the main field of creative economy, the normative-legal basis of the formation of the economy in the sphere of culture, the issues of state policy and regulation were investigated from a theoretical-methodological aspect. On the basis of long-term statistical data, analyzed and evaluated the activities of individual areas of Azerbaijani culture, identified the relevant reserve opportunities and shown their impact on the economic development of the area. The overview includes information about historical and architectural monuments in the country, including the liberated territories, as well as in Shusha, and the reconstruction and restoration works and highlighted cultural events carried out there after the glorious victory.
