On September 7, 2022, held the meeting of the Dissertation Council chaired by prof. Nazim Muzaffarli (Imanov) of the Institute of Economics
Deputy Chairman of the Council, Doctor of Economics, Professor Mushfiq Atakishiyev chaired the meeting, and held the discussion of the thesis “Measurement of the degree of liberality of information services and evaluating their economic effects” conducted by Leyli Allahverdiyeva to receive the scientific degree of Doctor of Economic Sciences (on the specialty 5307.01 – “Economic Theory”) (scientific advisor, Professor Nazim Muzaffarli (Imanov)).
The dissertation work developed at the Institute of Economics of ANAS.
Scientific secretary of the Dissertation Council, Ph.D. in Economics, Sevda Seyidova, gave information about L.Allahverdiyeva and she made a broad presentation about the main content of her dissertation. Heard the opinion of official opponents – D.Sc. of Economics, professors - Umudvar Aliyev, Veysal Ayyubov, Rufat Guliyev and Givi Bedianashvili. The plaintiff answered the questions addressed to her. The members of the council spoke about the dissertation work and expressed their opinions, and held discussions.
In the end, by secret voting L.Allahverdiyeva's dissertation was approved by the Dissertation Council (economics.com.az).
