Vice-President of ANAS, Acting Chairman of the Scientific Council of the Department of Social Sciences, Academician Govhar Bakhshaliyeva gave information about the agenda of the event. At the meeting heard Academician Naila Valikhanli's report on "Zangazur region in history and historiography".
Heads of departments of the Institute of Economics of ANAS, professors - Tofig Huseynov 85, Tarbiz Aliyev 75 and Agharza Rustamov were awarded with the Honorary Decree of the Department of Social Sciences for their anniversaries and services in the development of economics. It was also decided to submit a petition to the Presidium of ANAS on the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the corresponding member of ANAS Alovsat Guliyev and the 75th anniversary of the corresponding member of ANAS Akif Musayev.
At the event, academician Govhar Bakhshaliyeva spoke about the work carried out in the research institutions of the DSS on the implementation of the decision of the Presidium of ANAS dated January 12, 2021, "On the responsibilities of ANAS in connection with the research work on the liberated territories of Azerbaijan." A number of scientific-organizational and personnel issues were also discussed at the meeting. The issue of work on the placement of articles of employees of the department in "Wikipedia" was widely discussed.
The meeting partially changed the composition of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Economics of ANAS, as well as discussed a number of changes in the structure of the Institute on the basis of the existing staff at the expense of internal resources (economics.com.az).
