The 7th inter-institutional football championship of young scientists and specialists of the Academy dedicated to the 99th anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, organized by the Free Trade Union (FTU) of ANAS and the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists, held on May 18, 2022
The football teams of the Institute of Economics with the Presidium of ANAS competed for gold medals in the final game and the Institute of Economics won the VII inter-institutional football championship with a score of 4-1. The Institute of Information Technology took the 3rd place, and the football team of the Institute of Geology and Geophysics took the 4th place.
Acting President of ANAS, Academician Arif Hashimov, Vice-President of ANAS, Academician Isa Habibbayli, Director General of the Institute of Economics, prof. Nazim Muzaffarli, Chairman of the ATU, Doctor of Law, Professor Habil Gurbanov, Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists Elmir Babayev, heads of a number of scientific institutions and organizations, chairmen of trade unions and young scientists attended the championship. The winners were awarded with medals. The team of the Institute of Economics was awarded with gold medals and a race cup.
