On May 12, 2022, held the meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Economics of ANAS. A number of issues were discussed at the meeting chaired by the Director General of the Institute, D.Sc., Professor Nazim Muzaffarli (Imanov)
Chief scientific researcher, D.Sc. Sevda Mikayilova gave information about the participation of employees of the Institute of Economics of ANAS in the international scientific conference "Industrial diversification in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic as a factor of international economic integration" held on April 29, 2002, at the Nakhchivan University. She noted that the senior researcher of the Institute of Economics of ANAS, D.Sc., Sevda Mikayilova, leading researchers – Ph.D. Tabriz Yadigarov and Ph.D. in Economics, assoc.prof., Alasgar Sariyev closely involved to the conference. The conference held at a very high level, heard scientific reports and held interesting discussions. Employees of the Institute of Economics of ANAS, who actively participated in the international conference, awarded with the certificates of the Nakhchivan University.
The head of the education department Mirvari Gazanfarli gave information about the certification of doctoral and Ph.D. students. This year, it was recommended to conduct a new certification, organization of discussions on the work of doctoral and Ph.D. students in the departments where they are assigned, listening their reports, hold meetings with scientists and department heads.
Giving information about the admission of documents to the doctoral and Ph.D. programs of the Institute of Economics of ANAS for 2022, M. Gazanfarli noted that 24 people applied for the 12 allocated places. At the next stage, planned holding exams.
By secret ballot the Scientific Council decided to give the title of associate professor to leading scientists of the Institute, Doctors of Philosophy in Economics Tabriz Yadigarov and Famil Rustamov (economics.com.az).
