Head of the Department of the Institute of Economics of ANAS, Doctor of Economics, Professor Tarbiz Aliyev was awarded with the Order of Merit by the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences (RANS) and the European Scientific-Industrial Consortium. The scientist was awarded with this prize for his contribution to the development of world science
In 2017, it should be noted that prof. T. Aliyev was elected a full member and an academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The decision was made at the annual meeting of the Russian (ANS) in Moscow, which was attended by scientists from many foreign countries and about 300 delegates.
In the following years, together with the European Scientific-Industrial Consortium, and with the establishment of the Russian ANS, prof. T.Aliyev was awarded the honorary titles of "Honored Worker of the Science and Education" and "Honored Worker of Science and Technology", "Gold Medal" named after VI Vernadsky and the Order of "Labor and Knowledge" for his contribution to the development of world science. As an economist, he is also the first Azerbaijani that received the Adam Smith Gold Medal from the European Science and Industry Consortium.
