The event, chaired by the Director General of the Institute, Professor Nazim Muzaffarli (Imanov), was attended by employees of the Ministries of Economy and Culture and a number of higher educational institutions
Tanriverdi Pasha, Leading Researcher at the Department of Monetary and Fiscal Regulation of the Institute of Economics, presented the results of his research on the topic "Socio-economic effects of cultural heritage". The speaker said that the study examined the role of cultural heritage in the sustainable socio-economic development of society and its potential spheres of influence, as well as substantiated the need for state support and intervention in the conservation, restoration and utilization of cultural heritage. In addition, under the modern conditions, the assessment of the economic components of cultural heritage objects, the management of cultural heritage objects, the strategies for capitalizing cultural heritage objects at the level of various management institutions have been studied.
Based on world experience, T.Pasha also spoke about the mechanisms for attracting financial resources to the process of preserving and restoring cultural heritage sites.
