Dear colleagues!
For several years, we have been celebrating April 14 as the "INSTITUTE DAY". This is the day when we look back at the way we passed, report to ourselves, and reconsider our future.
Everyone knows that our Institute has a special place in ANAS. And everyone knows how our Institute has contributed to the development of economic sciences in Azerbaijan. There was much said about the glorious historical path we have traversed. We are proud to be the main scientific center of our country in the field of fundamental economic researches. All of us knows how honorable and responsible this status is, don't we?!
Expectations from us are very high, and there are a lot of things we should do and I am sure we will do a lot. The world is completely confused and it is inside of a whirlwind of wars. A new order of the world is being formed.
Our President with his great political skill is leading Azerbaijan out of these turmoil. Large-scale construction works are underway in our country, which has never been done before. Most importantly, Karabakh is free and now is being rebuilt, as it says, from zero. Everyone must take part in this great works.
The responsibilities of our economists are very serious. There is not any time for idle talk and gossip. EVERYONE should try to be as useful to our state as possible, and I believe we will!
