On March 30, 2022, at the Dissertation Council of the Institute of Economics of ANAS held a meeting to defend the dissertation on scientific degree of the Doctor of Philosophy in Economics
The meeting chaired by the Deputy Chairman of the Council, Professor Mushfig Atakishiyev, discussed the dissertation by Nizami Shakir Asadov on "Features and regulation of marriage and divorce in Azerbaijan" for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Economics (5313.01 - "Demography") Doctor of Economics, prof. Shahbaz Muradov and Ph.D. in Economics, assoc.prof., Rufat Efendiyev).
The dissertation work was carried out at the Institute of Economics of ANAS.
Scientific Secretary of the Dissertation Council, Ph.D. in Economics Sevda Seyidova, after giving information about the applicant, N.Asadov made an extensive presentation on the main content of the dissertation. Heard official opponents - Doctor of Economics, prof. Avtandil Sulaberidze, Ph.D. in Economics, assoc.prof., Farhad Mikayilov and Ph.D. in Economics, assoc.prof., Sabina Shikhaliyeva's opinion. The plaintiff answered the questions addressed to him. Members of the Council expressed their views on the dissertation and held discussions.
In the end, N.Asadov's dissertation was approved by the Dissertation Council by secret ballot (economics.com.az).
