The Doha Forum 2022, which started in Qatar on March 26, was continued on March 27, 2022
The event was attended by high-ranking government officials, business representatives and scientists from more than 60 countries. The forum was also attended by representatives from Azerbaijan, including the Director General of the Institute of Economics of ANAS, Professor Nazim Muzaffarli (Imanov). At the 20th annual Doha Forum, held discussions on "Transformation for a New Era".
On the second day of the forum, panel sessions focused on economic crises and coordinated global recovery efforts: towards inclusive multilateralism, the geopolitical implications of the Russia-Ukraine war in the Middle East, and the future of foreign direct investment in the post-COVID era; climate change and adaptation policies for a sustainable future, how to end the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan; the fourth industrial revolution: challenges and opportunities for a new era; dangerous waters: peace and prosperity in the Indo-Pacific; vaccine distribution: joint solutions for a fair system; Rebuilding Palestinian stories: who is listening and can it make a difference; global climate crisis management; Aggression against Ukraine: Geopolitical implications for the Middle East; Sustainable development in the Gulf countries; the role of women in changing conflict environments; strengthening the creative economy to stimulate economic development; discussed the topical issues such as prospects for global cooperation in a polarized world were (economics.com.az).
