Employees of the Training Center of the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy and a number of higher education institutions also attended the event chaired by the Director General of the Institute of Economics of ANAS, Doctor of Economics, Professor Nazim Muzaffarli (Imanov).
Fariz Ismayilzadeh, Vice-Rector of ADA University, Director of the newly established Institute of Diplomacy and Development at ADA University, made a presentation on "Institute of Diplomacy and Development: Current Political Research and Opportunities for Cooperation." Giving information about the projects implemented by ADA University jointly with the Institute of Economics of ANAS, and the speaker said that the project "Preparation of proposals on forecasting and effective organization of repatriation to post-conflict areas of Azerbaijan" commissioned by the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan. It was successfully completed under the leadership of Nazim Imanov, and 4 books were published for use in government agencies on the basis of surveys conducted among IDPs. There are good opportunities for the implementation of new joint projects, and the parties intend to expand cooperation in this area.
Speaking about the newly established Institute of Diplomacy and Development, Fariz Ismayilzadeh noted that the international experience in establishing world-class universities, the resources required for this and the existing opportunities in our country. He noted that the main activities of the new institute include trainings (for the state and the sector itself), international grants and projects, conferences and symposiums, publication of scientific and practical journals, research, analysis, publication of analytical articles. At present, analyzes and assessments are being carried out on important events in the world, and discussions are being held with foreign experts on various topical issues. Research and analytical analysis on topical issues are also conducted in the country, published and submitted to government agencies.
Ismayilzadeh stressed that the main purpose of the Institute of Diplomacy and Development at ADA University is to be close to politics and the daily decision-making process, to contribute to it, to conduct interdisciplinary research, to establish international cooperation, to independently review processes, to conduct analytical analysis and is to establish a close dialogue with the real business sector (economics.com.az).
