The Institute of Economics of ANAS continues the practical training courses for masters of Baku Business University
On March 17, 2022, in the course attended by 15 masters of BBU, Head of the Post-Conflict Rehabilitation Research Center of the Institute of Economics, Professor Akif Musayev, Head of the Education Department Mirvari Gazanfarli and Head of the Department "Mathematical Support of Economic Research", Associate Professor Ravana Asadova mad speech on the training on the Rating of Economic Freedom Index
Prof. A.Musayev gave general information about the rating, M.Gazanfarli made comparisons with developing countries, and R.Asadova spoke about the classification of countries using cluster analysis. At the training answered the questions and held interesting discussions.
It should be noted that, according to the cooperation agreement signed between the Institute of Economics of ANAS and Baku Business University (BBU), BBU students and masters are conducting an internship at the Institute of Economics on "International Comparative Economic Research". The first training was conducted by prof. Nazim Muzaffarli "Why and how are international economic comparisons made?" passed on the subject. Trainings is continued. Those who show high results will receive a certificate from the Institute of Economics of ANAS. The head of the department of the Institute, Doctor of Economics, Professor Mushfig Atakishiyev has been appointed an authorized person to organize the internship at a high level.
According to the agreement, the training courses are paid, so BBU will pay for the Institute of Economics. This is the first experience in Azerbaijan as a paid training between students and masters for a specialty between a private university and the Institute of ANAS. The trainings are conducted by scientists from the Institute of Economics. Students and masters of the university also had the opportunity to get acquainted with the research work carried out at the Institute of Economics. The Institute of Economics, which has been conducting research on international ratings, publishing books and being represented as an expert in relevant government agencies for the last 3 years, has professional scientific experience in this field (economics.com.az).
