The first internship was conducted by the Director General of the Institute of Economics, Professor Nazim Muzaffarli
On February 17, 2022, a cooperation agreement signed between the Institute of Economics of ANAS and Baku Business University (BBU). The document was signed at the event held at the Institute of Economics of ANAS by the Director General of the Institute of Economics of ANAS, Professor Nazim Muzaffarli and the Rector of BBU, Professor Ibad Abbasov. According to the agreement, BBU students and masters will take an internship at the Institute of Economics on "International Comparative Economic Research".
Professor Nazim Muzaffarli said that 15 BBU masters will take part in the first training to be held in a month. Trainings and workshops on world-renowned international comparative rankings in the field of economics and research in this field will be organized for them. At the end of the trainings, their knowledge will be tested. Those who show high results will receive a certificate from the Institute of Economics of ANAS.
According to the agreement, the training courses will be paid and will therefore be funded by the BBU Institute of Economics.
Then prof. Nazim Muzaffarli asked BBU masters "Why and how are international economic comparisons made?" passed the first training on the subject. He spoke about the international economic ratings, research in this field, their main essence, main features, importance, negative and positive aspects, as well as the ratings prepared by the Institute of Economics of ANAS and research in the field.
