On February 4, 2022, at the joint meeting of the departments of "Theoretical bases of economic policy and history of economic thought", "Problems of regulation of entrepreneurship and monopoly" and "Problems of development of service spheres" of the Institute of Economics of ANAS scientific secretary of the Institute, Ph.D.in Economics, associate professor Leyli Allahverdiyeva’s Preliminary discussion of the dissertation "Measurement of the degree of liberalization of information services and assessment of economic impact" held for the scientific degree of Doctor of Economics (5307.01 - "Economic Theory")
After being informed about the applicant at the meeting chaired by Doctor of Economics, Professor Mushfig Atakishiyev, L.Allahverdiyeva spoke about the relevance of the dissertation, the level of study of the problem, the goals and objectives of the research, the main scientific innovations, the main content of the research, results and proposals.
Reviewers of the case – Doctor of Economics, professors Akif Musayev, Tarbiz Aliyev, Isa Aliyev and Gulshan Yuzbashiyeva, while noting the urgency of the topic, voiced their remarks and recommendations. L.Allahverdiyeva answered the questions addressed to her, as well as expressed her opinion on the comments of the reviewers. After extensive discussions with the participation of employees of the department, the dissertation was recommended for the next stage of discussion by open voting (economics.com.az).
