The book analyzes the position of Azerbaijan in the rankings on the index of development of information and communication technologies (ICT) and the price basket index of ICT services, examines the relationship between the index of ICT development and economic development. Factors determining the further improvement of the position of the country in the rankings of these indices were identified, relevant proposals and were given recommendations.
The book uses statistics from the State Statistics Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the International Telecommunication Union and the World Bank.
The book is intended for economists and economic policy makers (economics.com.az).
