Today, the souls of our martyrs are at peace, our lands have been liberated from occupation and we have an independent state. Today, the independent Republic of Azerbaijan is successfully developing under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev. Currently, intensive restoration and reconstruction work is underway in Karabakh. Azerbaijan is doing all these at its own expense, rebuilding 20% of its territory in the level of the most modern standards, and from scratch. Life in Karabakh will soon be revived with the settlement of the population. Mr. President is doing a great job in this area. "
Other speakers - professors Rena Sultanova, Isa Aliyev, Tarbiz Aliyev, Ph.D. in Economics, associate professors Jalil Guliyev, Allahyar Muradov, Mahir Zeynalov and others spoke about the events they witnessed during the events of January 20, the heroism and bravery of our people at that time, also about the national liberation movement. They noted the acquisition, protection and strengthening of our state independence as our great historical achievement.
They also drew attention to the socio-political processes of that time and spoke about the reasons for the tragedy, the knowledge of our people in those difficult days, the people's struggle for freedom and self-sacrifice. They stressed that the names of the martyrs of January 20, 1991, are forever engraved in our history of independence, they will always be remembered with respect, and the souls of all our martyrs are happy to ensure the territorial integrity of independent Azerbaijan with the liberation of Karabakh (economics.com.az).
