On September 30, 2021, a meeting on the defense of the dissertation of the Doctor of Philosophy was held at the Dissertation Council of the Institute of Economics of ANAS
The meeting chaired by the Chairman of the Council, Professor Nazim Muzaffarli, discussed the dissertation on "The impact of innovation on increasing competitiveness in microeconomics" submitted by Gulnar Ali Ashurova for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Economics (5307.01 - "Economic Theory" Famil Mustafayev). The dissertation work was carried out at the Institute of Economics of ANAS.
Scientific Secretary of the Dissertation Council, Ph.D. in Economics, Sevda Seyidova after giving information about G.Ashurova made a presentation on the main content of the dissertation. Heard official opponents – Doctor of Economics, prof. Isa Aliyev, Doctor of Economics, prof. Arif Shakaraliyev, Ph.D.in Economics, assoc.prof., Asaf Agayev's opinion. The plaintiff answered the questions addressed to him. Members of the Council expressed their views on the dissertation, and held extensive and interesting discussions. In the end, G. Ashurova's dissertation was approved by a secret ballot by the Dissertation Council (economics.com.az).
