Special Representation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Aghdam region, Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Karabakh Revival Fund and Institute of Economics of ANAS on September 16-17, 2021 will hold scientific-practical conference on “Building new Economy in Karabakh: Development impulses from Aghdam”.
The conference will focus on the following areas:
- Building a new economy in Agdam: economic potential, priorities, expectations;
- Natural resources and green energy potential of Aghdam and Karabakh as a whole;
- The balance between traditional and non-traditional sectors of the economy in Karabakh;
- Return of IDPs to Agdam and Karabakh (as a whole)
Conference materials (Collection of articles and theses) will be published. Articles and theses are accepted only in electronic form and in Azerbaijani, Turkish, Russian, and English languages.
Articles and theses must be written in accordance with the following requirements:
- Microsoft Word (A4) format, Times New Roman font (font size - 12; line spacing - 1.15; margins: left - 3 cm, right - 1 cm, top and bottom 2 cm);
- The character limit for the article is 15,000-20.000 and for the theses is 2000-2,500;
- The title of the article should be in capital letters, bold, (Font size: 12);
- Author’s (authors’) last name, first name, patronymic (in full), (Font size: 12);
- Scientific degree, scientific name of the author (authors), name of the institution where author (authors) works or studies (for doctoral students and dissertators), e-mail address, contact number - In a new line, (Font size: 11);
- Article summary - maximum of 1000 characters (Font size: 11);
- The bibliography should be composed in alphabetical order (Font size: 11);
Chapters of articles should have the following structure:
- Statement of the problem (or Introduction);
- Analysis and evaluation;
- Results and suggestions.
Articles must be sent electronically to agdam@pa.gov.az no later than September 10, 2021. Articles that are not submitted by this date and do not correspond to the scientific directions of the Conference will not be accepted.
