On June 30, 2021, the Dissertation Council of the Institute of Economics of ANAS held a meeting for defension the dissertation of the scientific degree of the Doctor of Philosophy
At the meeting chaired by the Deputy Chairman of the Council, Doctor of Economics, Professor Mushfig Atakishiyev, hold the discussion of Abasova Syria Aydinovna to receive the scientific degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Economics (5310.01 – “World Economy” and 5308.01 - "General Economy") between the liberalization of foreign trade and protection of the domestic market in Azerbaijan Ways to ensure balance” (scientific supervisor prof. N.Imanov). The dissertation work was carried out in the department of "Globalization and international economic relations" of the Institute of Economics of ANAS.
Scientific Secretary of the Dissertation Council, Ph.D. in Economics, Sevda Seyidova after giving information about S.Abasova made a comprehensive presentation on the main content of the dissertation. Heard official opponents - Doctor of Economics, professor Safar Purhani, Ph.D. in Economics, associate professor Shahin Bayramov, Doctor of Economics, professor Elshad Mammadov, Doctor of Economics, professor Farhad Rahmanov's opinion. The plaintiff answered the questions addressed to her. Members of the Council expressed their views on the dissertation and held discussions.
In the end, S.Abasova's dissertation was approved by the Dissertation Council by secret ballot (economics.com.az).
