On July 1, 2021, the next online scientific seminar held at the Institute of Economics of ANAS. The event was attended by employees of the Institute, representatives of the Yekaterinburg University of Economics, ADA University, Cooperation University, Mingachevir State University, the State Tax Service of Russia. Opening the seminar, the director of the Institute of Economics of ANAS, Doctor of Economics, professor Nazim Muzaffarli gave information about the main topic of discussion of the event and the speaker
At the seminar, Deputy Director for Scientific Affairs of the Institute, Ph.D. in Economics, Associate Professor Allahyar Muradov presented a study entitled "Regional economic development and diversification in Azerbaijan" conducted jointly with Professor Nazim Muzaffarli.
On the study "Regional economic development and diversification in Azerbaijan" made assessments, comparisons by region, presented regional diversification and its positive and negative points, modern regional development problems, key research results, and calculated the Regional Economic Development and Diversification Index by regions and cities.
Then the authors of the study answered the questions and held extensive discussions on the topic (economics.com.az).
