The head of the Scientific Center of post-conflict areas rehabilitation of the Institute, corresponding member of ANAS, D.Sc. of Economics, Professor Akif Musayev made a report on "Restoration, reconstruction and settlement of post-conflict areas". The scientist said that after the 44-day war, which resulted in victory, began the restoration and reconstruction work in the liberated lands of Karabakh. One of the 5 main goals of the “Azerbaijan 2030: National Priorities for Socio-Economic Development” approved by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated February 2, 2021 is to make a great return to the liberated territories. This issue is currently a priority area of government economic policy. By the relevant Presidential Decree, the Coordination Headquarters was established for solution socio-economic, humanitarian, organizational and other urgent issues in the liberated territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as to coordinate activities in this area. At the Interdepartmental Center established to perform the functions of secretariat and communication at the headquarters and to provide the necessary analytical and organizational support that included scientists of the Institute of Economics of ANAS - Professor Nazim Muzaffarli and Professor Akif Musayev, formed the working groups covering various fields.
The Coordination Headquarters, which represents all government agencies, on a daily basis is currently very actively involved in the reconstruction and reconstruction of Karabakh.
