On June 18, 2021, held a meeting at the Dissertation Council of the Institute of Economics of ANAS to defend the dissertation of the Doctor of Philosophy
At the meeting chaired by the Chairman of the Council, Professor Nazim Muzaffarli, discussed Leyla Rovshan Serttash’s dissertation for the scientific degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Economics in 5307.01 – “Economic Theory” on “Macroeconomic problems of sustainable production (based on agricultural materials)” (scientific supervisor is prof. I.Aliyev). The dissertation work has carried out in the Department of Agrarian Reforms and Food Security of the Institute of Economics of ANAS.
Scientific Secretary of the Dissertation Council, Ph.D. in Economics, Sevda Seyidova after giving informion about L. Serttash made an extensive presentation on the main content of the dissertation. Official opponents - Ph.D. in Economics, Seyfaddin Samandarov, Doctor of Economics, prof. Gulenbar Azizova and Ph.D. in Economics, assoc.prof., Rufat Efendiyev's opinion heard. The plaintiff answered the questions addressed to her. Members of the Council expressed their views on the dissertation and held discussions.
In the end, L.Serttash's dissertation by secret ballot was approved by the Dissertation Council (economics.com.az).
