On June 4, 2021, held a meeting on the defense of the dissertation of Ph.D. in Economics scientific degree at the Dissertation Council of the Institute of Economics of ANAS
Discussion of the dissertation by Samir Masud Mahmudov on the specialty 5308.01 - "General Economics" on "Directions for increasing the role of the health insurance system in strengthening the social protection of the population" for the scientific degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Economics held at the meeting chaired by the Deputy Chairman of the Council, Professor Mushfig Atakishiyev (scientific supervisor assoc.prof., R.Abdullayeva). The dissertation work has carried out in the department of “Socio-economic problems of living standards” of the Institute of Economics of ANAS.
Scientific Secretary of the Dissertation Council, Ph.D. in Economics, Sevda Seyidova after giving information S.Mahmudov made a comprehensive presentation on the main content of the dissertation. Heard official opponents – D.Sc. of Economics, professors Mahabbat Mammadov, Ramiz Isgandarov and Ph.D. in Economics, assoc.,prof., Parviz Hasanov's opinion. The plaintiff answered the questions addressed to him and members of the Council expressed their views on the dissertation and held discussions.
In the end, by secret ballot S.Mahmudov's dissertation was approved by the Dissertation Council (economics.com.az).
