On September 25, 2026, Professor Nazim Muzaffarli, Director General of the Institute of Economics, welcomed Doctor of Economics, Professor Akmal Allakuliyev, Rector of Tashkent KIMYO International University of Uzbekistan and his accompanying colleagues.
This university is one of the largest private higher education institutions in Uzbekistan, with 70,000 students. It allocates approximately USD 1 million annually to scientific researches.
Professor Nazim Muzaffarli provided information about the Institute of Economics and its ongoing research activities, while Professor Akmal Allakuliyev shared information about the university’s academic and research activities. During the meeting, were discussed the prospects for conducting joint researches between Tashkent KIMYO International University and the Institute of Economics (economics.org.az).
