Opening the seminar, Director of the Institute of Economics of ANAS, Doctor of Economics, Professor Nazim Muzaffarli informed about the main topic of discussion of the event and the speaker. The researcher presented foreign trade indicators on 4 international rating reports: Index of Global Competitiveness, Index of Economic Freedom, Index of Global Innovation and Index of Global
Opportunity. He said that in these reports, foreign trade indicators are calculated on the basis of average trade tariffs, non-tariff restrictions, complexity of tariffs and openness to trade.
The head of the department of "Globalization and international economic relations" of the Institute of Economics of ANAS, doctor of economic sciences Fuad Ganbarov made a report on "Foreign trade indicators in the international rating reports".
