On April 2, 2021, in accordance with the requirements of the pandemic conditions, at the Institute of Economics of ANAS held an entrance exam for the doctoral program on the relevant specialty - Doctor of Philosophy in economics
The examination commission chaired by the director of the institute, professor Nazim Muzaffarli (Imanov) the members are Doctor of Economics, prof., Gulshan Yuzbashiyeva, Doctor of Economics, Fuad Ganbarov, Ph.D. in Economics, assoc.prof., Allahyar Muradov, Ph.D. in Economics, assoc.prof., Leyli Allahverdiyeva and assoc.prof., Gulsura Mehdiyeva.
Head of "Education Department" of the Institute of Economics of ANAS, assoc.prof., Gulsura Mehdiyeva gave an interview to the economics.com.az that 13 people who successfully passed the English language and philosophy exams for doctoral studies took part in the exam, which took place in conditions of transparency and application of modern computer programs. After the exam, the results were announced, and all participants passed the exam and were admitted to the competition. Head of the Department of Doctoral and Dissertation of the Department of Science and Education of ANAS, Ph.D. Omar Gulalov praised the examination process.
For the 2020-2021 academic year, 9 planned places have been allocated for admission to the doctoral program of the Institute of Economics of ANAS for the preparation of doctors of philosophy. Taking into account the results of all exams the names of those admitted to the doctoral program will be announced by the examination commission (economics.com.az).
