The journal "Economic Growth and Social Welfare" of the Institute of Economics of ANAS was included in the list of periodicals recommended for publication of the main results of dissertations in Azerbaijan by the decision of the Supreme Attestation Commission (SAC) under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on December 11, 2020. TheDeputy Editor-in-Chief of the magazine, Doctor of Economics, Professor Mushfig Atakishiyev stated in an interview with economics.com.az
M. Atakishiyev noted that the magazine "Economic Growth and Social Welfare" publishes the scientific and theoretical articles in the field of economics, research materials in a format in accordance with modern requirements. The first issue of the publication has already been published, and articles are being accepted for the next issues. The magazine, which is the successor of the journal “Scientific works”, was registered in the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan on April 26, 2011 (Register № 3402). Also, the International ISSN Center (Paris) in 2020 gave the magazine the ISSN code: ISSN 2707-9309; E-ISSN 2707-9317. The magazine is included in the indexes of Internet Archive, Road, Academia.edu, Scribd, Calameo. Summarizing and indexing are being continued.
The editor-in-chief of the scientific publication, which will be published for 4 times a year, is Doctor of Economics, Professor Nazim Muzaffarli (Imanov), Executive Secretary is Doctor of Philosophy in Economics, Associate Professor Nasimi Ahmadov.
M.Atakishiyev said that the magazine "Economic Growth and Social Welfare" prefers to publish the most relevant scientific works on modern economic problems of our country: "Taking this into account, we invite economists, scientists and researchers to the scientific cooperation with us and we believe that they will make a significant contribution to our economy with their scientific works for increasing welfare of our people” (economics.com.az).
