On September 25, 2020, with the financial support of the Council for State Support to Non-Governmental Organizations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Public Union of Economists of Turkic Speaking States held a webinar on “Compulsory health insurance is a guarantee of your health”
Rasmiyya Abdullayeva, Ph.D., Associate Professor, Chairwoman of the Public Union of Economists of Turkic-Speaking Countries, made an introductory speech at the webinar and gave detailed information about the importance of compulsory health insurance. Then, Ph.D. in Economics, associate professor Allahyar Muradov spoke on "Compulsory health insurance: world experience", scientific researcher Malak Aliyeva on "Application of compulsory health insurance in Azerbaijan". The speakers also answered questions about the importance and benefits of compulsory health insurance, world experience, the peculiarities of its formation in Azerbaijan.
Along with members of the Public Union of Economists of Turkic-Speaking Countries, representatives, students and teachers of various universities (Baku State University, Azerbaijan State Economic University, Sumgayit State University, Azerbaijan Cooperation University, Mingachevir State University, etc.), media and non-governmental organizations took part in the webinar (economics.com.az).
