On January 27, 2020, held the competition for admission to the doctoral program of the Institute of Economics ANAS. Under the chairmanship of the director of the Institute, Prof. Nazim Muzaffarli (Imanov), with the membership Prof. Akif Musayev, prof. Gulshan Yuzbashiyeva, prof. Mushfig Atakishiyev, D.Sc., Fuad Ganbarov, Ph.D. Allahyar Muradov, Ph.D. Rasmiyya Abdullayeva and assoc.prof., Gulsura Mehdiyeva established competition commission
8 people took part in the competition for 8 places. By each applicant for research on the topic of doctoral dissertation carried out listening and discussions. As the main issues have given attention to the urgency of themes, demands on priority development directions of Azerbaijan’s economy, its compliance with modern challenges, the essence of research on problem topics, expectations and etc. problems.
In the end, according to the competition commission's decision were accepted only 5 places, and the vacancy of the other bidders for three places were not satisfied with the commission's level of preparation for writing a doctoral dissertation (economics.com.az).
