On December 26, 2019, held the next meeting of the Academic Council of the Institute of Economics, ANAS. At the meeting, chaired by the director of the Institute, Professor Nazim Muzaffarli (Imanov), discussed a number of issues
First of all, the director spoke about the main achievements of the Institute in 2019, about the activities carried out during the year, the participation of the staff in scientific events and their successes. Also, noted the successful report of the Institute on the results of scientific researches conducted in 2019, in the Department of Social Sciences of ANAS, including the numerous reports of our economists in the press. And shared his thoughts on the tasks and main objectives of the Institute of Economics of ANAS as the main scientific center of economy in our country.
Prof. Nazim Muzaffarli attended the International Doha Forum 2019 in Doha, Qatar on December 14-15, 2019, as well as the Global Challenges and Perspectives on Development, organized by the Institute of Market Problems of the Russian Academy of Sciences in Moscow on October 24-25, 2019. He also informed about his participation in the International Forum.
Later, the Deputy Director of Science of the Institute of Economics of ANAS, Ph.D. assoc.prof., Allahyar Muradov informed about the attestation of Ph.D. and Doctoral students of the Institute and the results were discussed and approved.
By the decision of the Scientific Council in 2020, two young researchers - Dilman Asadov and junior researcher Jeyhun Huseynov - will receive anonymous individual scholarships.
