The Institute of Economics of ANAS was represented in "Doha Forum 2019"

  On December 14-15, 2019, in Doha, Qatar hosted an international event "Doha Forum 2019". The event on the theme of “Rethinking Management in a Multipolar World” attended by Nazim Muzaffarli, Director of the Institute of Economics of ANAS
  At this annual global political forum, the world leaders are discussing the successes of the past years. This year's forum was opened by the Emir of Qatar Tamin bin Hamad Al Thani. In his speech, Sheikh spoke about the rise of global problems such as poverty, war, occupation of lands, and environmental changes. In particular, he noted the project that Qatar provided $ 100 million to small island states with international organizations, including $ 600 million in humanitarian projects in various countries, and provide access to education for 10 million children through the Qatar Fund for Science and Development and aimed at expanding the opportunities of $ 5.8 million children by 2022.
  During the session, the Emir of Qatar initiated the tradition of respecting prominent figures of the conference presented the “Doha Forum 2019” Award for Diplomacy and Dialogue with Malaysia's Prime Minister Mahathir bin Mohammed.
  Near 250 speakers from more than 100 countries attended the event, and listened very interesting reports. At the event under the motto “Rethinking Management in a Multipolar World,” experts discussed global challenges and their practical solutions (economics.com.az).
