On October 31, 2019, held the first meeting of a new membership at the Institute of Economics of ANAS, Republican Scientific Research Coordination Council the Coordination Council on Economic Problems. Chairman of the Board is the Director of the Institute of Economics of ANAS, Doctor of Economics, Professor Nazim Muzaffarli and under his chairmanship at the meeting discussed the new regulations approved by the Presidium of ANAS on September 25, 2019
The membership of Economic Problems Coordination Council consists of a number of well-known economists in the country.
At the meeting of the Council, broadly discussed the organizational issues, the relevance of dissertation topics approved by the Academic Councils and responding to modern challenges, the main problems of economic science, approval procedures for research topics, improving coordination with research and educational institutions and etc., problems, and listened the suggestions and recommendations of scientists (economics.com.az).
