On October 24-25, 2019, in Moscow hosted the 8th International Forum on “Global Challenges and Development Prospects”, organized by the Institute of Market Problems of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS). The forum was organized with the support of the Integration Club under the Council of the Russian Federation, the Central Economic and Mathematical Institute of RAS and other well-known scientific institutions
Beside with participants of a number of countries the event was attended by scientists from the Institute of Economics of ANAS. Director of the Institute of Economics of ANAS, Doctor of Economics, Professor Nazim Muzaffarli made a presentation at the plenary session of the forum on "Economic Leftness and Rightness: Choice of Economic Development Strategy", and shared his views on theoretical and conceptual provisions that successfully presented to the international expert community and on importance in choosing economic reform priorities.
Another employee of the Institute - Doctor of Economics, professor Mushfig Atakishiyev made a report on “Modernization of the Azerbaijan’s economy on the basis of institutional reforms”. Russian scholars were interested in the ideas presented in the reports and expressed their desire to cooperate with the Institute of Economics of ANAS on these problems.
At the final meeting the chairman and members of the Forum Organizing Committee highly appreciated the participation and reports of the Institute of Economics of ANAS, and based on being close acquainted with the carried out works in our Institute some of Russian experts noted that want to sustainably corporate with the scientific institutions in the future (economics.com.az)
