On September 25, 2019, held the next meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Economics, ANAS. At the meeting, discussed a number of issues that chaired by the director of the Institute, Professor Nazim Muzaffarli (Imanov). The director informed first of all about the new research plans of the Institute in 2019, the three new rankings currently being developed by creative teams and staff
Director informed about the decision of the Presidium of ANAS, on the approval of "Provisional rules for holding the competition for scientific positions at scientific institutions and organizations of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences" dated January 16, 2019, indicating that these rules are the main document for future competitions.
At the meeting also discussed and decided to hold the jubilee event of Corresponding Member of ANAS, Doctor of Economics, Prof. Ali Khudu Nuriyev on October 10, 2019.
Deputy Director for Scientific Affairs of the Institute, Ph.D. Allahyar Muradov informed about the order of the President of ANAS dated September 12, 2019 regarding the disciplinary sanctions in the scientific-research institutions of ANAS, in the continuity of work and strengthening of discipline.
According to the decision of the Scientific Council, advised the publication of monographs by senior researcher of the Department of “Globalization and International Economic Relations” Tabriz Yadigarov “Operations Research and Econometric Problems in Software Packages MS EXCEL and EVIEWS: theory and practice”, and by the senior scientific worker of the Department “Finance, Monetary Policy” Vugar Bayramov “The sustainability of the national economy”.
Members of the Scientific Council congratulated the employees of the Institute - according to the results of the elections held at ANAS, Doctor of Economics Fuad Ganbarov was awarded the title of "Professor of ANAS", Ph.D. Mazaddin Ayyubov, Ph.D. Gulnar Samedova and Ph.D. Nasimi Ahmadov on the decision of the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan for the title of Associate Professor.
The employees of the Institute Yulduz Aliyeva, Karim Piriyev, Rauf Rzayev and Esmira Karaja were awarded with commemorative diplomas and gifts (economics.com.az.).
