As we gave information, the Eurasian Economic Forum was held on September 11-12, 2019, in Xi'an, China. The common theme of the forum is "One Belt - One Road": high-level cooperation and high-quality development. Director of the Institute of Economics, ANAS, Prof. Nazim Muzaffarli and Head of Department of International Relations Rufat Efendiyev also attended the Forum
One of the most important events of the forum was the closed meeting of the Preparatory Committee for the establishment of the International Silk Road Academy. N.Muzaffarli made a speech at the meeting and answered the questions of the participants. He noted that Azerbaijan supports the establishment of the "International Silk Road Academy" at the state level and is ready to render all kinds of assistance to ANAS within its limits. N. Muzaffarli informed the participants about the mission, organizational structure, management principles and financing rules of the Academy under construction. The comments of ANAS representative were of great interest and were the subject of further discussions.
We should note that the forum was attended by representatives of 54 countries. Topical issues in economics, finance, ecology, culture, e-commerce and many other areas were discussed at the forum (economics.com.az).
