On May 14, 2019, held a forum on "China and Azerbaijan Partnership: new opportunities and new challenges" in Beijing, the capital of China. The organizers are the Chinese Social Sciences Academy (CSSA) and the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS)
Event was attended by the president of ANAS, academician Akif Alizadeh, the vice-president of 
ANAS, academician Isa Habibbeyli, the head of International Relations Department of ANAS, associate professor Esmira Alirzayeva, director of the Institute of Economics, ANAS, Professor Nazim Muzaffarli, Scientific Concellor, assoc.prof., Rasmiyya Abdullayeva, chief of department, Ph.D. in Economics, Leyli Allahverdiyeva and leading scientific worker, assoc.prof., Agil Eyvazov. Speeches were listened at the conference, held extensive discussions on the issues of partnership between China and Azerbaijan in the field of economy, new opportunities and further expansion of cooperation in the field of science (economics.com.az).
