On April 30, 2019, at the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction (AUAC) with the co-organization by the Ministry of 
Education and the Ministry of Economy held the scientific-practical conference on "Modern state of industry and development problems: impact of technoparks and industrial neighborhoods on economic development of the country"
The conference was attended by prominent economists, members of the Parliament, representatives of the Ministry of Economy, Sumgait Chemical Industrial Park LLC, Economic Reforms SRI, employees of the leading universities of our country and the Institute of Economics, ANAS, (Prof. Ali Nuriyev, Prof. Tarbiz Aliyev, Professor Gulshan Yuzbashiyeva and etc.).
The purpose of the event is the creation of technology parks that play an important role in the development of industrial sectors to accelerate the Azerbaijani economy, investigation and justify the ways of solution of problems. At the conference, a group of scientific employees of the Institute of Economics, ANAS – Ph.D. in Economics, assoc.prof., K.N.Abdullayev, Ph.D. in Economics, A.H. Hasanov, scientific worker G.A.Fataliyeva, Ph.D. in Economics, V.A.Bayramov, Ph.D. in Economics, R.M.Aliyev, Ph.D. in Tech.Sc.
