At Institute of Economics, ANAS, held the meeting for discussion carried out research works for 2019-2021
Director of the institute, Professor Nazim Muzaffarli said that, the scientific institution was established on April 14, 1958 by a decision of the 
Council of Ministers of the Azerbaijan SSR, and on April 14 was declared as the “Institute Day”. It should be noted that, according to the order by the Director of the Institute of Economics, every year on April 14 will be celebrate as “Institute Day”, will be hold various events and will be award employees.
In turn, Deputy Director of the institute for Scientific Affairs, Ph.D. in Economy Allahyar Muradov made a report on the research plan, which should be implemented in 2019-2021. He gave detailed information on the research "The socio-economic development of Azerbaijan and improvement directions for further position on international comparative ratings (2019-2021)".
Other speakers Tanriverdi Pasha, Associate professor Mayis Gulaliyev, Professor Tofig Huseynov, Ph.D. in Economics, Yashar Mammadov emphasized their thoughts on international comparative ratings and the importance of further improving the country's position.
